efforts to improve

Across San Diego, you can see examples of the positive ways our industry improves and builds community. The building industry provides important community amenities such as homes, roads, schools, parks, and places of work, retail, arts & culture, and commerce. Your efforts on the jobsite or in the office help to build a sense of community.

revitalization

The redevelopment of the old Naval Training Center has produced major road improvements, beautiful homes, churches, a new event center for cultural events and a retail center to provide things you need close by.

infrastructure

Builders delivered Olympic Parkway ahead of schedule at a cost of $80 million, and created neighborhood parks for the residents’ enjoyment.

historic preservation

Developers uncovered ancient fossils millions of years old and donated them to the San Diego Museum of Natural History. This is part of how builders play a significant role in uncovering San Diego’s archaeological legacy. Almost all of the excavation in the region is carried out as part of the development process and is funded by developers.
