City of San Diego Staffing Changes Announced

San Diego Chief Operating Officer, Kris Michell announced staffing changes in several key positions at City Hall on Monday.

 

In a memo to Council President Myrtle Cole and the City Council, Michell reported that Elyse Lowe will become the new Development Services Director replacing Bob Vacchi who moves to Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Neighborhood Services. Lowe has been Mayor Faulconer’s Director of Land Use and Economic Policy. David Graham, moves from the DCOO for Neighborhood Services to take on the role of Deputy Chief Operating Officer for New Smart and Sustainable Communities which comprises multiple departments including Development Services, Planning and Economic Development. Johnnie Perkins was named as the new Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Infrastructure and Public Works, replacing Paz Gomez who departs to become the City of Carlsbad Public Works Director.
