Measure B – the Better Choice Measure – will help solve the County’s housing crisis by providing more than 2,100 homes for local families, and 1,331 of these North County homes will be affordably-priced for working families – guaranteed by a legally-binding covenant.

A YES vote on Measure B means choosing a Better Choice for 1,985 acres of privately-owned land. Currently, the San Diego County General Plan designates this land for the development of 2 million square feet of commercial space and 99 estate homes.

Although this project went through the required public planning process and was unanimously approved by the County Board of Supervisors, narrow special interest groups behind the nearby $10,000-a-week luxury Golden Door Spa spent millions to force this proposed community to a countywide vote.

We need more attainable housing – not another massive commercial complex. Not only will YES on B provide critically-needed housing options for our County, it will also create thousands of jobs and provide an overall economic impact of $203.6 million.
