Giving back

We build and contribute to projects that facilitate charitable outreach on behalf of San Diego’s building industry.

The Building Industry of San Diego believes in giving back to the community it serves. In 1990, BIA established this 501(c)3, charitable organization to help build a better future for those in need. BIA Cares has donated more than $2.3 million to charitable projects and programs in San Diego County.

bike drive

Because of the generosity of so many of YOU, BIA Cares provided “231” bicycles for 2022’s “BIA Cares Holiday Bike Drive.”  2022 continued to be a challenge for the Bike Drive with our biggest obstacle the supply and availability of bikes. The Bike Drive prevailed due to our long-standing relationship with our Walmart partners.
