PLAs in Chula Vista

On May 9^th, the Chula Vista City Council voted unanimously to: 1) develop a citywide Project Labor Agreement (PLA) with input from the San Diego Building and Construction Trades Council; 2) develop a labor transparency ordinance to be consistent with similar policies enacted by the County of San Diego; and 3) draft a municipal code amendment for traffic control workers. Staff will return in 90 days to City Council with recommendations and a vote. BIA is in opposition to these proposals
